Hallie enjoying the first snow of the year.  And of course she wanted to swing.
Anytime we go to a park or anywhere with a swing,
that is where you would find Hallie the majority of the time.

Hallie and Elise enjoying the box while Brady is at school.

Hallie found the sour cream and got it out of the fridge.
Before I knew it the is the mess I found.  She was very proud of herself
as you can see.

Brady enjoying his favorite sport.  John had a friend
over and they were throwing the football, so of course Brady was
right there with them.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  We were able to have Mark, Meg & Elise come over.  We also had one of Mark's friends and one of the CRNAs John works with come over for dinner.  Late we took the kids to the see the movie Bolt.  I thought it was really cute.  Then we came home and basically didn't do anything because we were so tired.  So other than that we really haven't been doing much lately.  Brady is just getting over being sick all weekend.  We thought it was strep throat but it ended up being something else.  As you can see by the pictures Hallie is definetly in the terrible two's stage.  I aparantly need to find a lock for my fridge so she won't get into the food.  Its a good thing she is so cute.

I figured that since I was on I might as well send pictures from our trip up the Mackinac Island over labor day weekend.  We really had a lot of fun and as you can tell it is really beautiful.  For those of you who don't know Mackinac Island is in northern Michigan.  You have to take a ferry to get to the island and there are no cars allowed on the island.  So the only ways to get around once you are on the island is by bike or horse and carriage.  So we took all of our bikes and really enjoyed the time we were there.  The island itself is only about 8 miles around.  John and I were able to ride around the whole island which is were we were able to get the better pictures of the water and the Mackinac bridge.  There is also a hotel on the island that is called the Grand Hotel.  It is a very beautiful hotel and you can stay there if you want to pay at least 5-700 dollars on an off night on the weekend we were there it would have cost around 1000-1500 dollars a night for a room that did not look out to the water.  It also costs about $10 just to walk into and around the lobby.  So in other words we didn't spend the money and just took pictures from the outside which surprisingly enough didn't cost anything.  But we really had a fun time and loved being able to just get out with the family on our bikes.

Here are the most recent pictures taken.  Halloween was very fun.  We had Chris and Fay here to celebrate with us.  Hallie was a bee and Brady was a red ninja.  They got  a lot of candy and have not even touched half of it, which is ok with me.  Also the other pictures are of the kids playing in the leaf pile that we raked up at the neighbors house across the street.  It just shows you how many leaves there can be around here.  The pile was made on Oct. 30th or so and to look at the neighbors yard now you would think that they hadn't raked it at all.  But as you can tell they had a lot of fun with the huge pile.  The other two kids are the neighbor kids, Ben and Sean.

Hey everyone I finally joined the world of bloggers and started up my own blog. I figured it was about time so I could easily send pictures of the kids. It is amazing how fast they grow. Anyway I hope you all enjoy reading about our the daily happenings at the foster home.
