Brady played soccer this fall.  It was his first time.  He had a lot of fun especially because he was on the same team as his friend Deven.

Brady's birthday party.  Notice the boxes in the back.  We were literally right in the middle of packing up the house to move when we took time out for Brady's birthday party.

Lexie at 7 months.  This was also the first time I put her hair in a fountain on top of her head.  I just thought she looked really cute.

Brady, Hallie and Lexie with Grandma Kristen.  The kids have really been warming up to John's mom.

Lexie sitting by herself for the first time.  She was very proud of herself for doing it.

I realized that it has been awhile since I had last posted.  To update everyone we are now living in Idaho.  It was a really fast change for us but we are excited to be with family.  As of right now we are living with my parents while we look for a house.  John started his new job last monday and so far seems to be enjoying it.  Brady also started school here and really seems to be adjusting well.  His favorite part about it is now he gets to ride the bus to and from school.  This is the first time that we have lived in an area that he could ride the bus.  He also really enjoys the fact that I take him to the bus stop on the 4-wheeler.  Only in Idaho and in the country, but he really has fun with it.  Hallie is still my trouble maker.  Just today within a 30 minute time span she made Lexie gag on a spoon, got water all over her and the coffee table, and then tackled her cousin that just turned 1 and wouldn't let him up.  And is now sleeping  and as been for over 2 hours.  But I love her and she keeps us on the run.  So life is very busy and we are right in the middle of a very exciting and stressful time in our lives right now.  I will let you all know when we find a house and move into the next phase.

I went out of town for a couple of day with just Alexa and left the kids in Michigan with John and babysitters.  They were at a friends house while John was at work and this is what they were up to.  Sorry Emily for the mess.  They had a lot of fun.  When I called to talk to Brady all he said to me was that they were building the biggest fort ever and then he said goodbye.  I guess at least he talked to me that long.

They got to watch a movie on the movie projector and they were obviously enjoying the popcorn also.

We went to pick blueberries the other day and Hallie insisted on having her own bag to put her blueberries in.  Both kids had a lot of fun.  However I think more blueberries ended up in Brady's mouth than in the bucket.

Alexa while we were picking Blueberries.  She isn't actually asleep, she was awake the whole time just making noises and having fun.  The minute we started packing up and getting in the car she started crying and didn't really stop until we got home.

Me and the kids at the blueberry patch.  We had a lot of fun and can't wait to go again.  Who knew that Brady loved blueberries so much.

This was taken the day we blessed Alexa.

Taken at Easter,  starting to smile.

Brady really loves his new little sister.  Probably because she doesn't hit or bite him.

Sisters

All three kids.  How cute are they!!

I realized that I hadn't posted since Alexa was born and figured it was about time.  Life has been crazy around here.  I will be the first person to tell you now that three kids is the tough one to adjust to, at least it is for me.  We are enjoying having Alexa in our family.  And as you can see she is growing really fast.  She is now 6 weeks and is filling out.  These pictures are a couple of weeks old.  So I will take some more soon and post them.  This seems to be when her looks continue to change as she grows.

I can't believe that it is the end of April, life goes so fast and kids grow even faster.  For Easter we had a small Easter egg hunt in our back yard.  We invited John's brother Mark and his two girls Elise and Rachel over to find eggs with us.  Hallie was really funny, as usual.  I had bought some pre-filled eggs that had animal faces on the eggs.  Any time Hallie found a pink one she would say, "Aw I love it"  She would only do it with the pink ones.  Brady was just happy to find the candy and start eating it.  We were finally able to get Brady into a T-ball team.  He started a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loves it.  He can't wait to go to practice and games.  He does so well.  I will get some pictures and post them soon as well.  So as usual we are loving life and doing well.

Here we are me and the kids.  I can't believe I have 3 kids now.

Brady and Hallie with Alexa

Here she is sucking on her fist.

John and Alexa shortly after birth.

Alexa Lynn

Well as you can tell Alexa Lynn was born at 2:57am on March 19.  She was 8lbs 1oz and 21inches long. So I got my birthday present.  I can't believe how fast everything went.  I went to the hospital and was induced at 9:20pm.  She decided to take it from there and wasn't messing around.  We are both doing really well and both healthy and happy.  Brady and Hallie came up to the hospital later to see her.  Brady went right up to her and was just looking at her.  It took Hallie a little longer.  She was a little unsure of everything that was going on. She finally settled down and by the time they were ready to leave she was hugging and kissing Alexa, or "baby leky" as Hallie calls her, she was also saying, "I love baby leky".  I just wanted to let you all know about our new addition.  We are very blessed to have 3 healthy happy kids.  Kids are amazing.

These pictures are from Saturday the 14th. John and Brady had a boys weekend. They went up to northern Michigan where John is a snowboard instructor. They were also able to get together with a couple of other kids from Brady's school class. The pictures were taken by John and the video was done by Ben one of the other dads. The boy in the blue helmet and video is Josh. And the other boy in the black helmet is Cooper. They had a lot of fun and as you can tell the boys are really crazy together. I'm sure this is the beginning of a yearly trip for Brady and John.

Tuesday, February 24, 2009

Well here we are at the end of February.  I can't believe how fast time flies.  Things have been same as usual around here lately.  We were able to spend some time in northern Michigan over Valentine's day and Presidents day weekend.  John was snowboarding the whole time but we still had fun.  Brady was able to snowboard with John on Monday and he really had a lot of fun.  He is doing really well at it and I'm sure before long he will be better than me, I'm not very good.  As for Hallie she is always keeping me busy.  The funniest things that she now says to me, other than putting me in timeout,  is she will ask, "Who dat" and when I tell her she will answer with, "Oh, I know dat."  Maybe she is just making sure that I know what is going on around me.  There is no doubt in my mind that she has a very big personality, and she will let you know about it.  As for me I am very pregnant and very tired of being pregnant.  It is a good thing that I only have about 3 more weeks to go.  I have had people ask me to post a picture of me, but I think I will save you all the pain.  Let me just say that it really looks like I have swallowed a basketball.  John is keeping really busy between work and snowboarding.  For those of you who don't know John started being a snowboard instructor at a resort in Northern Michigan last year.  He is really enjoying it, but it is also taking a lot of his time away from us.  I keep thinking only a couple more weeks.  Anyway, things are going really well.  I will let you all know as things change in our family.  I will post pictures of the baby as soon as she decides to come so you can all see her.
